Cruising

I survived my presentation this morning :o) And found this awesome picture from the grocery store last weekend - high five to whoever brought the giant two person carts to market.

gah so behind. I'm putting together a presentation tonight that I'll be giving in front of ~700 people tomorrow. needless to say, it's a good thing daycare blogs for me. Here's an update, ripped directly from them :o)

Yahoo spring arrived....for a week or so.   You love it outside.   When I get your coat out you start to wave your arms.   We are working on having you crawl outside on your own.   You will crawl all over the playground.   You have learned the sign for all done.   There are times we ask if you are done and you shake your head "no".   A little time later you will sign all done.   We are also working on the tippy.  Today you decided to drink out of your water tippy.   You have enjoyed traveling from item to item.  The other day it was the sensory table to the ballet bar to the table.  One of your favorite activities is to empty the shelf of all the books.   You end up with a pile at your feet.

Reading

Today was a check engine light comes on during your drive from the after hours pediatric clinic to Walgreens to pick up the pink stuff for a double ear infection kind of Monday. So I'm taking the easy blog route and just posting a video. Enjoy :o)

Water park part 1

We went to Lake Geneva over the weekend for a little family vacation. We didn't have the phone out much because, water park. But both girls had a fantastic time, and so did the adults!

It was still WI however, so it was cold outside and we did have to go between building to get back to our room from the water park. I left m with Alex and asked him to put her socks on while I took c back into the locker room to get dressed. I came back to find this.

I know the girl is big, but I think putting her in MY socks might be a little much :o)

Quick m update

Gah! So much to blog about! So little energy to get off the couch and move to the main computer :o) We'll settle for a quick m update tonight. From her daily sheet at school:

Waving and shaking her head yes to the squirrels outside this morning as she 'talked' to them. :) Crawling forward to get to toys with VERY tiny little crawls. So funny to watch! Very into reading books today. Pulled the whole basket off the ledge to read them and would open them and flip each page.  Keeps pulling to a stand on the ledge and falling.

I can totally picture her waving to the squirrels - makes me smile every time I think about it. And we've seen the pulling to a stand here as well.

Needless to say, I lowered the crib mattress yesterday.
