M reading...continued
One more day until an amazon prime delivery unlocks the pictures from the good camera. Until then, enjoy a nice long read from m :o)

Moab part 1
So the sad news is that the part of my eyefi card that I need to set up a new computer went missing and our old PC went dead, so we're going to have to wait a couple of days for pictures off the real camera. Until then, here are a couple of pictures from the Moab trip and Arches national part from my phone. It was incredible.

Catch you next week
Alex and I are heading down to Moab today because
I see much hiking and photo taking in our future, but probably not so much blogging. I'll shoot to catch up next week. Thank you Norm and Jean for watching the girls, and have a great weekend everyone!

Story for two
The cutest thing I think I've ever seen happened tonight. No pictures since it was part of bedtime, but I'll do my best to tell the story.
C had a rough night including saying some mean things out of frustration so we put her to be early (before M). When it came time to start story time (which we've been doing with both girls at the same time), M freaked and wanted nothing to do with listening to the book. After getting the same freak out with several books in a row I finally asked M if she wanted to read with C. After a strong "YES" and racing to C's room, she crawled onto C's lap and sat quietly for two whole books. C listened to the stories and gently stroked M's hair.
Sorta makes the screaming over the same toy that happened before dinner worth it...
P.S. I did finally get a picture of this today while stopped at a red light
These two are too much :o)

View while blogging
You might have noticed I spent some time this weekend catching up the blog. The glorious part is that it was nice enough to do much of that work outside. One day we'll get furniture for the deck off our master - until then I'll sit right on the deck and enjoy the view.
Max doesn't seem to mind sharing :o)

Zoo!
Turns out Salt Lake has a pretty nice Zoo:
http://www.hoglezoo.org/
We went to check it out on Sunday. The girls loved checking out the animals, and interestingly enough c spent more time in the stroller than m. It was super bright and we didn't stay still long, so the pictures are terrible, but I'll post them anyway :o)

Biddy Ball Round 2
So when I was a little one I remember biddy ball practice (aka basketball practice for elementary school kids). Well they don't call it biddy ball here, but C has started basketball none the less. And loves it.
Her coach is a 65 y.o. grandpa who's awesome with the kids. They're all about moving a having fun with just a little skill development worked in which is perfect. And as an added bonus C is doing it with her friend who also happens to live across the street.
The only bad thing is their programs don't start until age 3, a rule m solidly disapproves of.

News from the Park Record
The Park City news paper cracks me up regularly enough that I think I'm going to add a Park Record label. Here's the first installment.
"At Park City Medical Center, we may not be able to predict whether junior will free-heel the backcountry or carve up the moguls, but we can give you and your new addition a safe, comfortable experience in our state-of-the-art labor and delivery center. Because without caregivers who understand you and your baby's unique needs, you might end up with a snowboarder."

Happy Friday!
Sorry long time no post. Since last post I've had another trip to Albany and we've had another round of illness in the house. Oh and I sprained my ankle. But I've decided since March is over that all must be behind us now. Onward to better and brighter :o)
The girls are still awesome, and are doing more and more things together (such as writing very important correspondence)
and we're reaching a very important milestone as a family tonight - Alex and I are going out for a "spouse dinner" my work is hosting, and an honest to goodness baby sitter is coming over to watch the kids. She's worked for the neighbor's a bunch which is where we got the name, but it's the first time we're using someone we didn't know first. A strange feeling for sure - wish us luck!
