Holidays Part 2
Next in the chain of events was a party for my team at work. The great thing about my new team is that we all have kids (oldest is 4, youngest is 9 months). It is so nice to come in after a bad night an KNOW that they all understand what you're going through. Anyway, I had the whole gang over for bunch, we had a great time (unfortunately not photographed), max was a huge hit (and a saint), and everyone went home happy.

Holidays Part 1
You all knew it was bound to happen. Life gets busy, and the blog is the first to go. Mea culpa.
Last year I had a goal of updating the blog at least once a week - I ended up with 59 posts in 52 weeks. Woohoo! Let's go for 60 posts this year, and I'll start with a recap of holidays:
We started by getting the decorations ready
We went for a small fake tree this year since we were going to be in Utah for the week of Christmas, and it also allowed things to be out of range of little C. Didn't mean she didn't get to help though...
Shortly after decorations went up, Channukah was upon us! We were really lucky to get to celebrate with Grammy and Grammy Sue, and to get great, home made cold house gear!

Snow!
Turns out Wisconsin is still Wisconsin. After a record number of snowless days winter finally arrived yesterday. C got a chance to try out her new snow pants, and it looks like we still have some mobility issues to work out...

Oh Christmas Tree
We're heading to Utah for the week of Christmas this year, so we couldn't justify getting a real tree. So, we got this instead.
Slightly underwhelming for those of us that remember our two big trees from last year, but C was VERY interested.
And finally was able to sweet talk her daddy into a closer look
