Kids are still producing lots of art at school. I'm still taking pictures of it so you can enjoy it as well (and I can recycle it without guilt)

Skiing update
Even though the snow is mostly gone at our house, there's still quite a bit on the mountains. And that means the skiing's still going strong.
According to Alex, C...
According to Alex, C...
- Can both turn and stop
- Is a wizard at snowplowing
- Doesn't need the "magic carpet" anymore and is fine on chair lifts
- Was almost going to go on a blue run this weekend
Not bad for her first winter in the mountains! The crazy part is that we're already looking at buying next year's season passes... including one for m :o)

Finally some good news!
So it's been a rough couple of weeks here. I posted about the last few rounds of illness, but since then I went down, and went down hard. Temperature was 104.7 by the time I got to urgent care, and I was flat on my back for several days after that. BUT, things are starting to turn around for the mad city provans. Starting with.....
Yes folks, those are what you think they are. Mailbox keys! After 6 months of fighting with USPS and dealing with lost mail and packages, we finally have mail service at our house. Never again will I take a simple thing like getting mail for granted, or rather I won't when the package I ordered from Amazon today actually arrives :o)

Circular Progress
No pictures today but at this point I feel like my last post was false advertising, so here are our updates.
- Wednesday - daycare calls after nap time. C's running a fever. By the time we get C to urgent care her temp is 104. Step test is negitive but they prescribe her antibiotics anyway because that's a heck of a fever.
- Thursday - C stays home, still sick but certainly better (yay drugs). Alex is decidedly not better so takes his turn at urgent care. His turns out to be a sinus infection so he also got antibiotics.
I'm so so so so happy tomorrow is Friday.

Progress
Well, I'm very proud to report that for the first time since last Tuesday everyone went where they were supposed to this morning and stayed there all day! No don't be fooled, most are still sick. But at least it's a more functional level of sick than we've seen in a while. Hurrah Progress.
We were all pretty tired by the time we got home though.

date-a-versery!
February 29, 2004 Alex and I became boyfriend and girlfriend (and for good that time). So today, February 29 2016 I'm having this to celebrate our third date-a-versery.
Now it was after a dinner of buttered noodles (since most of the crew is still on a bland diet) with just the girls (since Alex was in bed), and it's ginger ale (since we've got both the stomach bug and a chest cold in the house and I need every single ounce of immunity I can get to stay healthy), but dang nab these dates only come around every four years and I was not going to let it pass by. Happy date-a-versery love - may the next one find us just as happy, but with fewer fevers :o)

Trips
While packing Sunday the girls got a hold of a couple of backpacks. C's was known ridiculousness - the same backpack that she's been using for skiing and travel that's way too big for her. M's was new.
Because of course she picked Alex's back pack.
And of course she wanted all the straps done up and wanted to walk around just like c was doing.
