Olympic Park

After Alex finished his half a couple of weeks back the girls and I stuck around to see the raffel. And it turns out it was a good thing we stuck around because he won a pass to the olypmic park!

We've gone a couple of times to see the jumpers, but never to play ourselves. C and I took the day on Sunday and it was amazingly awesome :)

Happy happy birthday C

Hard to imagine our little C is 7! and not so little. And tenatious and kind and amazing at pretty much anything she sets her mind to. This year she requested a horse birthday with a couple of friends, and boy did the ranch deliver.

And she got a goldfish to boot :)

Charlotte's first river run

Over labor day Chris and Caroline came out to Utah, and we were lucky enough to get to spend some awesome time with them rafting down the Provo river. About a year and a half after the colorado it was SO fun to get back out there, and so awesome to have Charlotte with us.

Even if things were a bit tamer than what we saw in the grand canyon :)

A very PC weekend

We had a lovely weekend this weekend...that I'll get to soon. But first some pictures from last weekend where m had a breakout soccer game:

C did her first mountain biking clinic:

And m rocked a very PC look while wandering the skate park waiting for C to finish up:

Back to school

And we're back! Hope everyone had a great summer. We had a fantastic time both here and in New York, and are now ready to get back into the swing of things.

C started 1st grade a week ago and is loving it. Duel immersion is no big deal, she LOVES her french teacher, and is generally happy about the whole setup (minus the fact that the daycare van that transports her to after school care makes her put on a five point harness instead of sitting in a booster - she HATES that).

M started preK on Monday and is also doing great. However we haven't quite figured out the right bedtime/morning routine, so due to some morning grumpy I wasn't able to get a smile on day one.

Don't let the face fool you though - she's still just as sunshiny as ever.

Colts also doing great. Loving the busy days

and the evenings when things slow down :o)
