700 - View while nursing
Hurray she slept until 7! Weekends are usually a crap shoot when it comes to sleeping, so 7 really is best case scenario. Pumping has started to become more of a challenge with all the training I've been doing, so I'm excited for a day a can just nurse. The crazy things hanging from the wall above the changing table are block letters that spell Charlotte that Grandma Jean gave C for Christmas. They've been a fun addition to the nursery.
730 - Showing sign of mobility
C has gotten to the point where she's rolling at will, but now seems content to hang out on her tummy for a while. I fear pushing up might be imminent.
800 - Really mom?
Mom, I'm not sure how that flash is supposed to help me fall asleep for my morning nap...
900
no picture, but c is finally sleeping after and hour of down for 10 minutes, screaming like a banshee after rolling onto her belly. Maybe she doesn't have this Rollin thing down after all...
1000 - Feel the burn
About to have my rear kicked at TRX class. I can feel the pain already. For those unfamiliar, it consists of 45 minutes of exercises and cardio done while holding onto those straps in some fashion. Lots of core, lots of stabilizing muscles. LOTS of soreness the next day. I can't get enough.
1100 - I leave the house for an hour...
Home from the gym in time to catch Alex and c monkeying around. Time to nurse and plan the rest of our day :)
1400 - Glamor Shot
Missed a couple of hours there while I was off getting fabulous. C has started to grab hair so I'm probably going to regret the trim instead of chop, but right now it's fun having long hair.
1530 - Power Shopper
Home after a very successful outing to Trader Joe's. C watched the world from the ergo while I picked out the makings of baby and adult food. C was a big hit with the grandma age ladies out shopping. It was kinda fun.
1600 - Chopped?
While c naps I managed to cook a chicken breast which is about to become my first attempt at meat puree since making dog treats. I also put together the crab cakes that will be the adults first course tonight.
1630 - Party Time!
Up from her nap and ready to dance! (Check out the video on Path - it's pretty funny)
1700 - Every expanding pallet
A small snack of wild game before the next round of nursing
1800 - Boys and their toys
1900 - Wrapping it up
Not sure how to wrap this up other than saying that I'm pretty darn lucky that this is an ordinary day. Non-madison family - we miss you.
