Barn Party!

PC Trail Series - 2017 Part 2

Blogging for postarity again - the other big event this past weekend was race two of the Park City Trail Series. 

10K on harder trails, including a brutal incline from about mile 3.5 to mile 5. It was officially the longest race I attempted in Utah last year - this year it felt really good, and I did much better - :o)

Hiking does not equal good pictures

We headed back to Park City Friday so C could go to swimming lessons and I could get some work done around the house. I pulled the girls out of school Friday afternoon though because it was too nice of a day not to get outside. We went hiking up at PCMR with my friend Maggie and made many attempts to get a good picture. It didn't happen, but we had fun :o)

Happy 4th

We celebrated the 4th in a big way this year. 3 birthday cakes in one day was definitely a bit much, but I was happy that everyone got their own something special. Remy and Averie's turned out really well, and Caroline was a good sport.

In addition to cake we had the required festive dress and decorations...

and tired dogs.

Ranch camp 2017

What an amazing couple of weeks we've had. I love love love love summer. Here comes a whole series of posts with lots of pictures and not much writing so I can get caught up :o)

It's officially July! And with July comes....Ranch camp. Since the rules are you have to be three and potty trained to participate, guess who got to be a full member this year?

We started the week with horses. Liqourice, Hitch, and 8-ball joined Romeo in the ring and the girls enjoyed every minute.

As did the spectators :o)
