...and bad photography. Have you ever noticed how hard it is to take pictures of the inside of a room?
Anyway, we got the baby furniture put together! Now in what used to be our office we have a glider and a crib:
And a dresser/changing table.
The nursery's starting to come together which has triggered some serious nesting instinct. I'm not sure why I made Alex wash the baby clothes before the clothing that we'll actually wear this week, but it seemed important at the time. Time to go fold....

Photo updates
It's been a little crazy around here with work stuff, but 33 weeks in we have managed to make some progress preparing for September.
See, we have a fully assembled crib:
And a not so fully assembled changing table:
(okay maybe that's less impressive). We also bought our first couple of cloth diapers:
Yes, I know the diaper above is hardly the gender neutral colors that I told everyone I was sticking too, but look how cute it is! It's hard to imagine that our baby will ever be big enough to fit into it, but then again looking down, maybe not :o)

Still kickin'
I know it's been a while - we'll shoot for some new pictures later this weekend but rest assured that we're still kicking over here in Madison (especially baby girl Provan). We had a wonderful weekend in door co. last weekend and a very busy week here, where it was all together too hot (sounds like the rest of the country is experiencing the same thing).
I had my 32 week appointment yesterday and everything still looks great! Health wise I'm on track, and baby's heart rate and measurements look good. Alex got to come to this appointment so it was fun for him to get to hear baby's heartbeat :o) Doc says that right now she's positioned head down and curled around with her feet on my right side - definitely explains all the kicking going on over there!

31 week bump (and the beginning of birthday week)
Our plan right now is to head up north for a long weekend next weekend to celebrate my birthday. While Sturgeon bay has a lot of wonderful things, fine dinning is not one of them :o) So Alex took me out last night for my birthday dinner. It was a wonderful start to the birthday week, beginning with the prettiest flowers I've seen in a long time:
and was a great excuse to get dressed up:
Let the record show that to date Debra's bridesmaid dress (above) is the only bridesmaids dress I own that I've worn repeatedly. Nice work Debra :o)

30 week bump
...is starting to get impressive if I do say so myself :o)
I still get people who are amazed that I'm as far along as I am, but at least no one is surprised at the fact that I'm pregnant anymore.
Physically I'm feeling really good, mentally I'm all over the board. Poor Alex had to deal with everything from sobbing for no reason to manic cleaning to happy go lucky this weekend. He's been a really good sport :o) Let's hope that things even out this week.
Baby's been moving like crazy recently - we're starting to be able to see her from the outside. No elbows or feet yet, but definite movement. She's getting bigger!
P.S. Megan (pictured below) had a beautiful baby boy yesterday. Both Mom and baby are doing great!
