Color Run

After seeing Alex and I race pretty regularly over the summer C started asking to run a race. This weekend a local elementary school provided just the opportunity - a 3K Color run. For those who aren't familar, a color run is simply a race where every 100 yards or so there's someone with a squeeze bottle of chalk dust who spays you as your run by so by the end of the race you're covered in lots of colors. Luckily they provide masks to protect little lungs from chalk dust.
(also it's cold here - it was 35 degrees when we got to packet pickup)

Turns out 3K is a long way for little legs, but C did admerably. It was a beautiful road and a beautiful morning so our couple of turns walking provided a chance to walk around.

The whole crew finished strong...

...and appreciated the treats at the finish line :o)
