It was awesome. We had to leave VERY early Wednesday morning to catch our flight out of Madison, but C was a good sport. Flight to Chicago was totally uneventful and C appreciated the long layover to get a chance to stretch her legs.
For the record, light weight swaddling blankets are awesome long after a baby's done being swaddled. We had a little trouble getting out of Chicago (had to switch planes after boarding one with a bum gauge, but all an all the trip out was very easy. C was more of a challenge then she was at 10 weeks, but the bulkhead row in first class helped :o)
One we got to Norm and Jean's house one of the first things we did was take advantage of the stroller they got to go exploring:
The are is beautiful. They're tucked right up against very "young" looking mountains - makes for really interested topography.
There was also lots of time spent just hanging out
Leading up to the two highlights of the trip....
1) Swimming
2) Alex and Norm winning the tournament AGAIN
